Cavos coffee shop is re-opening on Monday 20th July!

Yippee! Laleham’s excellent Cavos coffee shop is re-opening on Monday 20th July!

The following is their Social Media announcement…

All being well & going to plan Cavos will be reopening on Monday 20th July 2020.

‘Visit Britain’ have assessed our policies & say “we are good to go” & have awarded us the UK Tourism Industry Standard that they are satisfied that our business can open.

We are welcoming customers from the 20th July so you can visit with confidence knowing we have worked hard to ensure we have followed government & public health guidance & have undertaken a full risk assessment so you can visit knowing we have procedures in place to protect us all.

So here are a few things all our customers should be aware of:

🍰 A deep clean of the building has taken place prior to opening.

🍰 As required by the government we will need the names & contact details of all customers that enter the coffee shop. This info will be stored for the required 21 days & will then be shredded & disposed of responsibly.

🍰 On entering the building we will have a sanitise station set up for all customers to use. There will also be soap, hand sanitiser & paper towels provided in all toilets. There will also be hand sanitiser provided at the counter for when you are ordering.

🍰 If you can, please book in advance for breakfast, lunch or even just coffee & cake. When entering the coffee shop please come to the counter & we will direct you to your table. If you do not book, this is not a problem but please be mindful we may not have a table available for you. With this in mind during busy periods there will be a 1.5 hour time slot for tables being used, then everyone can enjoy Cavo’s.

🍰 We can only accommodate  up to 2 separate households or ‘bubbles’ at our inside tables.

If there are more households wishing to be seated together you will be asked to sit outside (hopefully the weather will improve!), we are allowed  up to 6 households at our outdoor tables (we now have 8 outside tables available).

🍰 All seating will be spaced at least 1 metre apart & we ask you not to move any furniture.

🍰 There will be a one way system in place with the entrance to the coffee shop at the front of the building & exit through the back of the building through the disabled access door, these doors will be clearly marked.

🍰 Our staff members will be following social distancing guidelines at all times, so service may take a little longer than usual. In addition all of our staff have been given the option of wearing PPE & they will be cleaning all areas, before, after & regularly during opening hours.

🍰 We ask that when ordering , only one customer from each table places the order at the counter & makes full payment at the same time.

🍰 Payments will preferably now be contactless, with this in mind the minimum charge on a card is now £1.00.

🍰 We ask that before leaving your table , could you please clear it of all rubbish in the bins available.

🍰 We ask customers with children to keep them seated & supervised at all times, including when they use the toilets.

🍰 Toilets are now only to be used by Cavo’s Coffee Shop customers who have made available their contact details. PLEASE do not send  your children in to the Pavilion to quickly use the toilet!!, as this goes against the government guidelines.

🍰 The cake table will no longer be self service & will be served to you at your table by a member of staff.

🍰 For now our opening hours will be 9.00am till 3.30pm.

Thank you for reading this far!!, & also for baring with us at this difficult time. We are learning &  adapting to all these changes too!

Hopefully see you all again soon, if you would like to book a table from the 20th July you can either book via our Facebook page or message/ call us on 07776 380094. Xxx🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰

Many thanks
